For over 100 Years the MVBS BOYS HOSTEL has housed professionals, many of whom have excelled in their respective fields and left a rich legacy to the hostel.
The hostel provides a platform for holistic development for economically disadvantaged students and wards of defence personnel outside metro cities who excel in the fields of Academics, Sports, Music and Arts

When are the applications for hostel admissions open?
The applications for admission to the Hostel are open round the year subject to eligibility and availability of accommodation. You can find the status regarding the same on the “Home” page and the “Admissions” page.
What are the eligibility criteria for the Scholarships?
To be eligible for the scholarship an applicant must:
1. Be selected for the hostel
2. Be an alumni of the hostel
How are the candidates informed of their selection?
Candidates are informed by email only.
How much is the fees per year?
The fee related information can be found under “Admissions”.
What is Time Limit for payment of fees?
Admission fee is payable within 10 days from the day of receipt of admission confirmation and before joining the hostel. If there is any financial issue, the student is supposed to inform the Admissions team by replying to the selection confirmation email.
Can I visit the hostel premises?
Only selected students and members of the MVBS Trust are allowed in the hostel premises.
Parents and guardians of hostel students need to inform the hostel management in advance (minimum 48 hours) and if permission is provided, they can go ahead with their visit.

Can a student re-apply if his candidature is rejected by the Admissions Committee?
If rejected, a student should not reapply within the next 12 months.
